Hi! I'm Annie, and I have been tutoring students in SAT & ACT test prep and academic math since 2008. I have coached students to perfect 800s on all sections of the SAT, and high 30s on the ACT. I have taught students individually and in group classes, and have worked with students with various learning differences, including ADHD and dyslexia. I also help students with test anxiety build confidence in themselves.
I began tutoring at the SUN afterschool program in Portland, serving several public school communities. I also developed courses for Saturday Academy and worked for other tutoring companies before launching my own service, Notable Academy. I am committed to providing effective and affordable tutoring and test prep courses for students and families.
I have a BS in molecular biology from UC Davis, and completed two years of graduate studies in environmental microbiology at UC Santa Barbara. After grad school, I discovered private tutoring was a great match for my skills. I truly enjoy working with students to help them surmount the many challenges school places in their paths.
